Pine Harbour Electrical was established in 2003. We’ve gained some great clients over the years, and, in fact, about 75% have been with us since the start.
We offer sales, installation, servicing and repairs — a complete package. We are also certified dealers of major marine electronic brands like SIMRAD, Furuno, Garmin and B & G. For more information visit our products & services page.
Our customers include Pine Harbour Ferries, which runs from Pine Harbour to Great Barrier and Waiheke Islands, and several extensively fitted out sea surveying vessels.
Many people work their entire lives to own a boat — it’s their dream. And we are aware of the trust given to us.
Our clients appreciate our clean and tidy work practices and that their boats are returned as we found them. Most of all, they appreciate our open and honest communication — if there’s a problem, we let them know.
All of us are passionate about boating, including fishing, yachting and diving. And we apply our general on-the-water experience to our business.
Let’s introduce the team…
Ryan is a qualified auto electrical engineer. Before establishing Pine Harbour Electrical, he spent seven years at redwood Auto Electrical and four years at Marine Electrical.
A family man with three kids, Ryan coaches for the Learn to Sail programme during weekends. He has also restored a classic twin-cockpit runabout and enjoys diving, fishing and game fishing.
Jonny is a qualified auto electronics engineer with over 30 years’ experience. He has in-depth knowledge of charging and starting systems and winches, etc., and served his time in South Africa working on busses and heavy machinery. Before joining the team he spent 10 years with redwood Auto Electrical. Jonny is also a family man with five kids.
Keanu is part of the family now, having joined the team six years ago. During this time he successfully completed his apprenticeship. He enjoys fishing and sailing and lives on his boat in the marina.
Rolfe joined us two years ago and has quickly made his mark around the marina. Rolfe has many years of knowledge under his belt. Raised at sea on a cruise liner he has saltwater in his veins. Rolfe’s technical ability and passion for boats is 100% evident.
Josh is working on an apprenticeship through the NZ Marine & Composites industry training organisation. He’s a really hard worker with a real passion of boating instilled into him by his family.
Susan is Ryan’s long suffering wife and keeps the company’s accounts ship shape.
Emilie is the first port of call in the office for booking in your jobs and she will keep you posted on how they’re progressing. Her biggest challenge is trying to keep the guys in line.
